After Janai was abducted by Karim and Kim'dael, Amaya did not waste time in planning to rescue her. When warned by Team Zym about Aaravos's return and needing to go to Lux Aurea, she felt comfortable knowing that Amaya was going with them and saw it best to postpone the wedding. She is also able to converse with her without issue Amaya can read her lips, while Janai can understand her signs even without Amaya's interpreter around. Two years later, Janai proposed to Amaya through an elaborate Sunfire Elf ritual and became officially engaged to her.
